Naturopathic Medicine is a distinct primary health care system that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. The Naturopathic philosophy is to stimulate the healing potential of the body and treat the underlying cause of disease.
Naturopathic Doctors can diagnose, treat and manage patients who suffer from a range of symptoms and conditions, addressing the root cause from a whole-person lens — focusing on the mind-body connection.

How Can Naturopathic Medicine Help Moms?
It is so important that moms are taken care of during pregnancy and afterwards. As a women's health specialist, Dr. Dalton can address your pregnancy and postpartum concerns — from optimizing your body for fertility to common postpartum feelings such as burnout, exhaustion, anxiety, depression, and even pain during breastfeeding.
Dr. Dalton will support you during this time and will investigate the root cause of your symptoms, which can include nutritional deficiencies, poor sleep hygiene, inadequate protein intake, and stress.
What to Expect
What happens at your initial consult?
Your initial consult will last 75–90 minutes and will include an in-depth review of your health history, current health state, and may include a physical examination such as blood pressure. You may be prescribed specific treatments to start addressing your symptoms while we investigate the underlying causes.
What happens at your second consultation?
Your second consultation will involve an in-depth review of your lab results. We will discuss dietary and lifestyle interventions specific to you. Supplements and botanical preparations will be recommended.
What about ongoing appointments?
Follow-up appointments will assess your response to treatment and determine the course of your medicine. This is also a time for meaningful preventative health measures to be discussed in relation to aging, preparing for cold and flu season, and any other health-related questions.
